Ark 2 Has Been Delayed To The End of 2024

Ark 2 is a sequel to the 2015 open-world survival game that pits man against Dinosaurs. Ark 2 was announced a few years ago, but a release date set in stone was not meant to be, just the knowledge that the title would be coming in 2023. However, according to a recent blog post, the title could be delayed to the end of 2024, and no, this is not part of an April Fools Joke.

Ark 2 Delayed Even Further

Ark 2 was already a title shrouded in mystery when it came to its release date, but a new blog post and has sent the title further into the future, to the year 2024. The full blog post can be seen here. While we had yet to see gameplay for the title, we knew that the game would feature Hollywood movie star Vin Diesel.

The delay is mainly attributed to Unreal Engine 5 and utilizing it to its fullest potential which is the aim of the developers, and because the engine is so new, it is presenting the biggest hurdle for the developers. While it is a shame that the title had yet to show more gameplay or features, it is better to wait for it when it is fully ready than get a release that can upset fans.
