Crime Boss: Rockay City PS5 Gameplay Reveals Heavy Emphasis PayDay-Style Co-Op Heists

INGAME STUDIOS has released the first proper gameplay footage of Crime Boss: Rockay City, which was recently announced at The Game Awards 2022 last Thursday.

When the game was first revealed it looked like we were getting a major single-player adventure similar to Grand Theft Auto, although the gameplay seems to confirm that it’s going to be more like PayDay. There’s a strong emphasis on co-op, with players working together to plan and execute heists.

Check out the gameplay below.

Set in the titular Rockay City, the game opens in the midst of a huge turf war between rival crime factions, after the demise of a previous crime overlord has left people battling for the position of King of Rockay City.

The city is a bustling metropolis packed with sandy bars and towering skyscrapers, while the game’s cast is packed full of stars including Michael Rooker, Michael Madsen, Danny Trejo and Vanilla Ice.

Crime Boss: Rockay City is pencilled in for a March 29, 2023 release on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S.
