Perhaps the most moving moment of the night occurred when Drake and J. Cole shared their mutual respect and admiration for one another.
Drake reportedly gathered the crowd and instructed them to serenade J. Cole with the late Whitney Houston’s 1992 single, “I Will Always Love You.”

While J. Cole made sure to return the flowers to Drizzy with a short, transparent speech recounting his admiration.
“I’m such a fan, and I feel like I’m speaking for all of us when I say this, but we are f*****g wild amazed, blown away by your greatness bro… It gives a n***a chills to see you do this s**t at the highest level, non-stop and constantly serve us and bless us with the f*****g soundtrack to our lives.”
Cole reiterated that he remains “blown away” by Drake’s “greatness,” and then the two warmly embraced before Drake exited the stage.
