We’re just a couple of days away from the launch of Genshin Impact’s version 3.3 – All Senses Clear, All Existence Void. In the previous update, players managed to defeat Scaramouche in the Archon Quest main story. He is now called the Wanderer and has decided to be a better person under Nahida.
To explore his backstory further, players will go to Irminsul in the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter called Inversion of Genesis, which is set to go live with version 3.3. Before the update launches, let’s take a deeper look at this mysterious individual on the path of reform.
The Wanderer has been described quite uniquely in a poetic way, which makes his story that much deeper. He believes he needs no introduction as ordinary people will never get to know him. He has given up all worthless emotions and will never engage with humanity. He has risen and fallen too many times, being left behind with no home or family, meaning he lives only for himself.
So, he believes that he must be called the Wanderer, because akin to the winds, he flows around in his world, gliding through its length and breadth. Deep, right?
As a playable character, the Wanderer is a long-range damage dealer that rains down hellfire on opponents by levitating and attacking through the air. He is an Anemo user who uses a Catalyst as his main weapon.
In his Elemental State, the Wanderer leaps into the air, entering a Windfavoured state while also gaining Kuugoryoku. During this period, he will constantly hover and perform Normal and Charged Attacks from a height. These moves will be converter into Kuugo: Fushoudan and Kuugo: Toufukai, making them capable of dealing greater damage over a bigger area of effect.
Finally, his Elemental Burst does consistent AoE Anemo damage. It can be used when Wanderer is in the Windfavoured state.
