LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga joins Game Pass this week

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the latest installment of the hit TT Games series, has just announced that it will be added to the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on December 6th, 2022. The game boasts countless Star Wars characters and adventures from all of the saga films. It’s available on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

Xbox fans have gotten an early gift for the holidays, with this one. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is one of the most successful and beloved LEGO titles, truly firing on all cylinders. The sparkling sense of humor returns in all of its glory. Nostalgia aside, it is tremendous fun to have voices in place of the older games, and more of an open world for the older movies.

It was always a little odd that the sequel trilogy didn’t get full titles first, and The Skywalker Saga does burn through stories like The Force Awakens pretty quick. But it can be fun to note the differences.

The Skywalker Saga has had more than a few technical issues since launch, but that can easily be forgiven for the staggering volume of content it offers. There are never-ending collectibles, activities, and even the most obscure characters have gotten their time in the spotlight.

On top of the base game content, there have also been numerous DLC updates, including references to the latest and greatest Star Wars content. For example, November 1st saw the launch of Andor DLC.

This has arguably made The Skywalker Saga the most comprehensive and ambitious title from TT Games yet, and it’s hard to imagine where they could go next. Maybe they can finally finish The Hobbit movies, add some Rings of Power content. But fortunately, there will always be new Star Wars content!
