Warhammer 40k Darktide Beta Progression Will Carry Over To Launch

Most games that launch in a beta or early access state tend to lean more towards “enjoy it while it lasts because your progress won’t carry over” when it comes to the full launch of their games. Fatshark has decided to throw that notion out the window, allowing players’ progress to carry over from beta to full launch.

In a recent Tweet from @Darktide40K, the developers posted an image stating, “Some may forget the promise of progress. We did not.” The image then says that all progress made during the beta launch of Warhammer 40k Darktide will carry over to the game’s full launch. Of course, this is great news, because there is nothing worse than working your hardest towards an end goal only to have it all reset, changed, modified, or lost at the end of early access or beta.

Yesterday, Fatshark also announced a community update that has already gone into effect. With that update came major updates to the game’s stability and connection to the servers. Some players had a very hard time inviting friends to play alongside them, as they were able to invite another player to their party but the new player wouldn’t actually join the party. Some players stated it took around 20 minutes of trying and failing in order to get that feature to work. More so, the update comes with new features in terms of progression and economy, which includes new cosmetics within the armory, improvements to the end-of-round experience, and the implementation of the very first crafting system.

Warhammer 40k Darktide is set to leave the beta state and fully launch on PC on November 30, 2022. As of right now, there is no set release date for console players, but the devs do state that it will most likely follow directly after the PC launch.
